Strange as a fiction,
light as a hoax.

Press Release:

My friend was at the front door so I went downstairs to let them in & after the climb back up to the 4th floor; a rolling cart in the communal trash area caught my eye. It was skinny like the serving carts on commercial flights, but not nearly as bulky. It had shelves; in the way that one was scalloped to hold seven wine bottles, one was deep, one shallow and another on top - all chrome, wirey, noninvasive. I wanted it in my apartment. I have blurry vision but rIy I saw it from far away. By the time I walked up there were six objects spread on the various shelves. Aside from the tweezers they weren’t the things you’d expct to find on a trash cart, like an empty toilet paper roll or tic-tac container, etc. I was hallucinating so my emotions were heightened but these objects were heavy castaways- and together at face value, could be read as poignant cultural symbolisms and potentially unpack some social rhetoric that is hard pressed for a voice these days. So we brought them into the gallery. The result is as follows. An essay eventually will emerge but for now they are set forth as objects from the hallway rolling cart & have since been returned to the communal trash area along with the cart.
